2023 Colour of the Year

Happy New Year! Hope you enjoyed a special Christmas & New Year with family & friends & are ready to jump into 2023 like we are. We have some upcoming projects we are keen to start designing & some delayed renovations commencing at the end of the month. Plus we have some exciting news coming soon!

Let’s get straight to it ……. Viva Magenta 18-1750 is the Pantone Colour of the Year 2023. It is a beautiful rich tone which invokes the forces of nature & has a wonderfully strong meaning behind it which epitomises our plans & attitude for the coming year.

Viva Magenta 18-1750 expresses strength, bravery & fearlessness & pulsates joy, optimistic celebration & a new beginning. After the last few years of challenges around the world Viva Magenta is the perfect colour to see us through to a new positive, vibrant era.

“This year’s Color of the Year is powerful and empowering. It is a new animated red that revels in pure joy, encouraging experimentation and self-expression without restraint, an electrifying, and a boundaryless shade that is manifesting as a stand-out statement. PANTONE 18-1750 Viva Magenta welcomes anyone and everyone with the same verve for life and rebellious spirit. It is a color that is audacious, full of wit and inclusive of all.” (Quote: Pantone)

The colour is uplifting & builds on the current popular tones which reflect nature; red earth, green forest, blue oceans, sandy outlooks & warm deep browns. Just like these tones Viva Magenta reconnects us to nature, invigorating our spirit & building our inner strength.

If you want to incorporate the 2023 Pantone Colour of the Year & don’t want to splash out on a bold Viva Magenta wallpaper or cabinetry, opt instead for introducing the colour through cushions, rugs, artwork or beautiful armchairs in rich, velvety fabrics to lift a room.

What do you think? Are you inspired to introduce an empowering colour into your home to invigorate your year?
