Colorbond Colours Inspired by Nature
As we’ve mentioned, the 2023 Pantone Colour of the Year, Viva Magenta 18-1750, and other current colours, reflect nature. Likewise, Colorbond’s latest 2022 colour release consists of a fresh palette indicative of the Australian landscape.
The rejuvenated colour palette of Dover White, Southerly, Bluegum & Wollemi provide us with versatile tones to complement current design trends & provides us with a range which suits both traditional & contemporary house designs.
Dover White is a timeless, fresh neutral colour inspired by chaulky sands, glistening ghost gum bark & pristine alpine snow. This bright white unifies a tonal scheme or brings a fresh contrast to darker colours.
Southerly, a classic, reserved hue, is reminiscent of distant hills, coastal shorelines & the inviting coolness of a southerly change. This elegant colour enhances both concrete & pale timbers while contrasting with rich-coloured bricks.
Bluegum is a relaxed grey with a calm mid tone indicative of cool horizons, morning mists & shades of mountain gums. It co-ordinates easily with dark timbers & naturally honed stone finished & works comfortably in rural & urban settings.
Wollemi is a nurturing fencing colour evocative of remote forests & deep valleys in a rich, deep green with hints of blue. This colour is a dramatic backdrop to lush planting or bushland.
